ABOUT THE BAND
We are a volunteer band serving the communities of Southern Ontario and western New York. As a non-competing band, we participate in local parades, fund raisers, special events and Royal Canadian Legion functions. Our band has just celebrated our 50th year of existence and over those years we have had many exciting and rewarding opportunities as well as making many lasting friendships.
LOOKING FOR PLAYERS
If you are interested in joining us, whether you have never played before or you are an experienced musician, there is always room for you at 163 Pipes & Drums. We are currently teaching the bagpipes or drums and would like to have you come and talk to us to see if this is for you. There is a slight cost of $10.00 for being taught pipes or drums by our experienced instructors.
We hold practices on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 9pm (tutoring from 6pm to 7pm). We also hold Saturday morning practices from 9:30am to 12 noon.
